<\/p>\n[vc_row][vc_column width=”3\/4″][vc_column_text]An excursion to a TV studio is always a special event, because it allows you to see how the content is created that millions of people watch every day on their TV screens or on the internet. It was such an informative and extremely interesting excursion to the 1+1 studio, during which students of the AISU school were able to see firsthand how modern Ukrainian television works. This trip opened up a whole world of the television industry for schoolchildren, where creativity, technology, journalism and teamwork of a large number of specialists are combined.<\/p>\n
TV studio 1 + 1 is one of the most famous and largest media platforms in Ukraine. For many years, it has been creating news, entertainment programs, TV shows, TV series, documentaries, and other content formats. Behind the scenes of each program is a large team of professionals: journalists, cameramen, directors, editors, screenwriters, producers, technical specialists and many other employees. That is why the studio itself consists of a large number of different rooms, each of which performs its own important function in creating a television product.<\/p>\n
During the Tour, students learned that there are several large filming pavilions in the 1+1 Media Center. These are spacious studios with high ceilings, powerful lighting and professional equipment. It is here that various television programs, talk shows, interviews and other program formats are filmed. Each pavilion has several TV cameras, special microphones, large LED screens, as well as decorations that create the atmosphere of a particular program. The scenery may change depending on the theme of the program, so designers and decorators also work in the studio.<\/p>\n
In addition to large film studios, editing rooms are an important part of television production. The 1+1 Media Center has many special rooms for video editing. In such rooms, editors work – specialists who process the footage and create full-fledged stories or programs from it. Each installation room is equipped with state-of-the-art computers, professional video editing software, large monitors and special audio equipment. Here, from dozens or even hundreds of captured fragments, a single story is formed, which later gets on the screens of viewers.<\/p>\n

For example, there are rooms for editing news stories, where work takes place very quickly, because the news needs to be prepared for the broadcast in the shortest possible time. There are also editing rooms for entertainment shows, where the editing process can take much longer, since such programs often contain a lot of video effects, graphics and musical accompaniment. Separately, there are Studios for working with color correction, where specialists adjust the colors and light on the video so that the image looks as high-quality as possible.<\/p>\n
Another important place in the TV Center is the director’s room. It is from here that the process of shooting a program or live broadcast is controlled. The director’s room has many screens that display images from all the studio’s cameras. The director, together with the technical team, chooses which camera will be shown at a certain moment, controls the sound, titles, graphics and other elements of the broadcast. This is a very responsible job, because the speed and accuracy of the director’s decisions depends on how the program will look for the audience.<\/p>\n
During the Tour, students also saw the newsroom. This is a large room where journalists, editors and news producers work. There is a constant active working atmosphere here: someone writes news texts, someone conducts telephone interviews, and someone prepares materials for the evening edition. The students were told that the work of journalists requires speed, care and the ability to check information, because news must be reliable and up-to-date.<\/p>\n
Especially interesting for schoolchildren was the opportunity to see the studio where news programs are conducted. It is here that TV presenters work, who tell viewers every day about events in Ukraine and the world. Students saw a large table of the presenter, cameras, lighting and a teleprompter – a special screen from which the presenter reads text during the broadcast. Many students were surprised to find that the studio looks significantly smaller than it looks on the TV screen.<\/p>\n
In addition to technical rooms, studio 1+1 also has rooms for training presenters and guests of programs. These are makeup rooms where stylists and makeup artists work. They help TV presenters prepare for the broadcast, choose their hair, makeup and clothes. Thanks to this, the presenters look professional and confident in front of the camera.<\/p>\n
Another important element of the Television Center is the rooms for writers and producers to work. It is here that ideas for new programs are created, scenarios for future programs are discussed, and the filming process is planned. Work on a TV project starts long before the cameras are turned on in the studio, so planning is an extremely important part of all the work.<\/p>\n
For the students of AISU school, this tour was a real discovery. Many things that they had previously only seen on TV could now be seen with their own eyes. Students were able to walk through the corridors of the studio, see professional equipment, watch the work of the television team and even ask questions to employees of the media company.<\/p>\n
Students were particularly impressed by the scale of television production. It turned out that creating one program requires the work of a large number of people. Each employee performs their own role: cameramen are responsible for shooting, directors manage the process, journalists prepare materials, editors create the final video product, and technical specialists ensure stable operation of all equipment.<\/p>\n
Students also learned that modern television actively uses digital technologies. Many programs today are created not only for television broadcasting, but also for internet platforms and social networks. That is why the studio also employs specialists in graphics, animation and digital content.<\/p>\n
After the tour ended, the students discussed what they saw for a long time. Many of them admitted that this trip changed their perception of television. It turned out that behind each program there is a large amount of work, preparation and creative ideas. Some even began to think about their future profession in the field of journalism or media.<\/p>\n

This trip left many vivid impressions in the memory of schoolchildren. They saw studios, editing rooms, newsrooms, director’s consoles, and other important parts of the Television Center. Much of what previously seemed distant and incomprehensible has now become much closer and clearer. That is why such an excursion was not only an interesting adventure for students, but also an important step in learning about the modern world of media and technology.<\/p>\n
Excursions are always a great opportunity for students to see the world outside of school textbooks, feel the atmosphere of real professions and understand how different spheres of modern society work. Such an event was the trip of students of the 7th grade of AISU school to one of the most famous media companies in Ukraine – 1+1 shopping mall. for many students, it was not just a walk, but a real immersion in the world of television, journalism and modern technologies for creating television content.<\/p>\n
The journey began with a morning gathering near the school. The students were excited and interested, because not every day there is an opportunity to see from the inside the work of a large television channel. The teachers gave a brief briefing on their behavior during the tour, after which the group went to the media center. On the way, students actively discussed what programs they watch, what TV presenters they know, and what exactly they would like to see during a visit to the studio.<\/p>\n
When the bus drove up to the building of the TV and radio company, the students immediately felt the atmosphere of a real media space. Modern architecture, large glass facades and an active movement of employees created the feeling that something important and interesting was happening here every minute. At the entrance, the group was met by representatives of the company, who made a short acquaintance and told about the history of the TV channel’s creation.<\/p>\n
During the introductory part of the Tour, students learned that 1+1 shopping mall is one of the leading media companies in Ukraine, which has been creating popular news, entertainment shows, TV series and documentaries for many years. Students were told about the development of television in Ukraine, How shooting and editing technologies have changed, and how modern digital tools allow them to create high-quality content.<\/p>\n
The first point of the tour was the TV studio, where various programs are recorded. When the students entered the large pavilion, they were amazed by the scale of the equipment. Powerful spotlights, professional cameras, microphones, scenery and huge screens created the atmosphere of a real television production. The guide explained how the cameras work, how the cameramen control the movement of equipment, and how the director controls the entire shooting process.<\/p>\n
Of particular interest was aroused by the director’s room – a place where live broadcast management takes place. Here, students saw dozens of monitors that simultaneously displayed different shooting angles. Employees of the TV channel explained that it is here that the director chooses which camera will be shown to the audience at a certain moment, controls the sound, graphics and other elements of the broadcast. For schoolchildren, it was a real discovery how difficult and responsible the work of the team that creates TV shows is.<\/p>\n
After that, the students visited the newsroom. Here they were able to see how journalists, editors and producers work. Employees explained how a news story is created: from searching for information and conducting interviews to editing and preparing material for the broadcast. Students learned that journalists often work at a very fast pace, because news must be up-to-date and verified.<\/p>\n
Especially interesting for seventh-graders was the opportunity to try themselves as TV presenters. In a specially prepared studio, some students were able to sit down at the host’s desk, read the text from the teleprompter and feel how the news is being recorded. For many, it was exciting, but at the same time very exciting. The children realized that the work of a TV presenter requires not only good diction, but also confidence, quick reaction and the ability to work in front of the camera.<\/p>\n
During the Tour, students also learned about the work of editors. In special editing rooms, they saw how full-fledged stories and programs are created from the footage. Experts explained that editing is one of the most important stages of creating television content, because it is here that the final story that the viewer will see is formed.<\/p>\n
In addition to the technical side, students were also told about the creative process of creating television programs. The producers explained how ideas for new shows are born, how the project team is formed, and how preparations for filming take place. Students realized that television is the result of the work of a large number of people: screenwriters, directors, cameramen, designers, editors and many other specialists.<\/p>\n
An equally important part of the tour was a conversation about the responsibility of the media to society. Representatives of the TV Channel stressed that journalists should submit reliable information, check the facts and adhere to ethical standards. The students were told that modern media play an important role in shaping public opinion, so the profession of a journalist requires honesty, care and a high level of professionalism.<\/p>\n

For many students, this tour has become a real source of inspiration. Some people for the first time seriously thought about how to connect their lives with journalism, television or media technologies in the future. Teachers noted that such trips help students better understand modern professions and see the practical application of the knowledge they receive at school.<\/p>\n
At the end of the tour, the students took a joint photo as a keepsake and thanked the employees of the TV and radio company for an interesting and informative meeting. Representatives of 1+1 shopping mall wished the students success in their studies and invited them to continue to be interested in the world of media.<\/p>\n
Returning to school, students actively shared their impressions. Someone was delighted with the TV studio, someone with the work of directors, and someone most liked to read the text from the teleprompter. However, everyone, without exception, agreed that this trip was one of the most interesting school excursions.<\/p>\n
Such educational events are extremely important for modern schoolchildren. They help you broaden your horizons, see the work of different professions, and understand how large organizations function.
