For us at AISU, school life is a daily space of development, communication, creativity, sports, discovery and friendship. It is from such moments that the life of the school gradually develops, which children remember for many years.

We are convinced that childhood should not be spent only at the desk. It is important for a child to be able to move, play, communicate, experiment, create their own projects, participate in contests, sports competitions, creative activities, and just spend time with friends. That is why at AISU we strive to create a school life where every child can find something to do.

Our school is not only a place where students get knowledge. This is a community of children, teachers and parents, which forms friendly relations, independence, responsibility, team spirit and respect for others.

School life consists of big events and small daily moments: the first victory on the sports field, an interesting experiment in the laboratory, a performance on stage, a team game, a new acquaintance, a joint project, an exciting conversation with a teacher or an ordinary fun holiday with friends during recess.

And this is exactly how we want to see AISU’s school life – diverse, active, modern and full of content.

What is school life in AISU?

When we talk about school life, we mean the entire space in which the child is during the school day and participates in the life of our community.

These are training, Sports, Creativity, recreation, communication, project activities, contests, holidays, themed days, team games, performances and many other activities.

At AISU, we strive to combine academic development with opportunities for self-realization. Our students can develop not only knowledge of academic subjects, but also skills of teamwork, communication, critical thinking, creativity and independence.

Our philosophy is that education should be a conscious process that helps the child discover their own abilities. We strive to educate curious, erudite and caring individuals who are able to learn throughout their lives.

Therefore, school life at AISU is not limited to the lesson schedule.

It has a place for sports.

There is a place for art.

There is room for science.

There is a place for friendship.

There is a place to relax.

There is a place for competitions.

There is room for teamwork.

And, of course, there is a place for children’s emotions, laughter and joy.

AISU school traditions

Traditions are what unites the school community. They create a special atmosphere and help children feel like part of a large family.

Over the years, AISU has hosted sports festivals, thematic days, Creative Events, Theater Productions, International and mathematical competitions, presentations of student projects, and other events.

Among the events and traditions that we can call part of the life of the AISU School:

Sports festival;

AISU Basketball Day;

Football tournaments and sports competitions;

Participation of the AISU football team in all-Ukrainian school leagues “side by side”

Sports week;

Spring holidays;

Presentations of student projects;

International youth conferences;

Participation in the International Mathematical Competition;

Thematic space lessons;

Venice day;

Theatrical productions;

Thematic cultural and creative events;

Graduation celebrations.

These activities are an important part of school life, because they allow children to express themselves outside of the usual lesson.

The AISU sports festival is one of the most beloved traditions.

One of the brightest traditions of our school life is the AISU sports festival.

For us, this is not just a sports day. This is an event that unites students, parents and teachers.

During the sports festival, the school turns into a large space of activity, Team interaction and positive emotions. Participants compete, support each other, support teams, and spend time together.

The AISU sports program includes various activities, including football and volleyball, as well as other sports formats and team activities.

The peculiarity of such events is that it is not only victory that is important here.

It is equally important to learn how to support a friend.

Don’t be afraid of losing.

Work as a team.

Respect your opponent.

Achieve goals together.

It is through such events that an important part of school life is formed – the culture of interaction.

AISU Basketball Day – a day of team spirit.

Another notable sporting event in the life of the school is AISU Basketball day.

This day is dedicated to basketball, teamwork, healthy lifestyle and sports development of children.

For students, this is an opportunity not just to play a match, but to feel like part of a big school team.

Preparing for such events also becomes a part of school life. Children train, communicate, support their teams, and prepare for competitions.

We see AISU Basketball day as an opportunity to show children that sports are not just a result on the scoreboard. These are cooperation, mutual respect, discipline, emotions and pleasure from movement.

Football in the life of AISU school.

Football occupies a special place in the sports life of AISU.

The school has its own football field, where training sessions, sports activities and competitions are held.

In 2026, the AISU football team took part in all-Ukrainian school leagues “side by side”. For us, this is an important part of the school’s sports life and an opportunity for students to gain experience in team play at competitions.

For young football players, such events are much more than a match.

This is character training.

This is the ability to listen to your partner.

This is the responsibility of the team.

This is the ability to continue fighting even after failure.

And this is the experience that remains with the child far beyond the football field.

Swimming pool as part of school life.

AISU has its own pool with ozone treatment of water without chlorine. The swimming pool is part of the school’s sports infrastructure and creates additional opportunities for children’s physical activity.

We believe that physical activity should be a natural part of a child’s life.

Therefore, sports in our school are not just individual competitions.

This is a regular movement.

This is an active holiday.

This is the ability to switch after an intelligent load.

This is the formation of healthy habits.

How do children relax at school?

School life cannot consist only of learning.

The child needs breaks, communication, movement and the ability to switch attention.

That is why at AISU we pay attention to the space for recreation and active leisure.

Students can spend time on sports grounds, playgrounds, and other areas of the school. The AISU infrastructure also includes a library, sports facilities, creative spaces and areas for joint interaction.

For some, the best vacation is football.

For some – basketball.

Someone likes to read.

Someone is happy to be creative.

And someone just wants to chat with friends.

And this is normal.

We don’t want to make all children the same.

On the contrary, school life should enable each child to find their own way of recreation and self – realization.

Clubs and additional classes at AISU.

An important component of school life is clubs and sections.

We strive to ensure that the child can develop not only within the framework of the main curriculum, but also have the opportunity to try themselves in other areas.

Extracurricular activities presented in AISU materials include sports sections, art studios, music and theater classes, robotics, chess, programming, research areas, and other activities.

Separately in the description of the AISU branch in Khodosovka are indicated:

Robotics;

Choreography;

“Young chemist”

Art studio;

Talent studio;

Sports activities.

This is an important part of school life, because the child can gradually understand what is really interesting to him.

Robotics and technologies.

Modern school life is hard to imagine without technology.

Robotics helps children not just use technology, but understand the principles of their work, experiment, create and search for solutions.

For many children, such activities become an opportunity to feel like inventors for the first time.

And most importantly-while working on practical tasks, the child learns not to be afraid of mistakes.

Didn’t work out the first time?

Let’s try again.

Need to change the design?

Let’s change it.

Need to find another way?

Let’s look for it.

It is this approach that forms independence and perseverance.

Art studio and creativity.

Creativity is another important area of school life.

The Art Studio gives children the opportunity to work with different materials, create their own works and experiment.

For us, creativity is not necessarily the desire to make a “perfect” drawing.

It is much more important that the child can say:

“This was created/created by me”.

That is why creative activities are an important part of school life.

Choreography and dancing.

Movement, music and dancing help children open up.

Choreography is one of the areas represented in the additional activity of AISU. The school also has an appropriate sports and creative infrastructure.

Dance classes can be a way for a child to overcome shyness, learn how to work in a group and feel confident in their own body.

And also-just have fun.

After all, school life should be not only useful, but also joyful.

Theater classes and performances.

Theater is a special format of school life.

On stage, the child learns to speak in front of the audience, remember the text, work with emotions and interact with other participants.

AISU’s life included Theatrical Productions and students ‘ participation in an assembly dedicated to the theme of theater.

For some, performing becomes the first big challenge.

For someone-the discovery of their own talent.

And for some – just a fun adventure with friends.

Science is also a part of school life.

School life at AISU includes not only art and sports.

Scientific activity also occupies an important place.

The school has Laboratory and learning spaces where children can work with practical tasks.

The young chemist direction is mentioned separately among AISU’s activities.

And in the life of the school there were already thematic scientific events, in particular space lessons for the world aviation and Cosmonautics Day.

Such formats allow you to turn knowledge into experience.

The child does not just read about the phenomenon.

She can see it.

Discuss.

Ask a question.

Conduct an experiment.

Make your own conclusion.

This is what we see as one of the values of modern school life.

Mathematical contests and intellectual competitions.

In the life of the AISU school, there is also a place for intellectual competitions.

Our students took part in an International Mathematical Competition.

Such contests help children test their knowledge in a new format, learn how to work with tasks of increased complexity and gain experience in intellectual competition.

But the contest is not just about winning.

It’s also about curiosity.

About the desire to test yourself.

About the ability not to give up if the task seems difficult.

And these are the skills that a child needs not only in school, but also in adult life.

Student projects:

One of the most important areas of AISU school life is project activity.

Students of grades IV and Pre-IB presented their own projects, working on research and developing critical and analytical skills.

A project is an opportunity for a child not just to get a grade.

This is an opportunity to ask a question:

«What am I interested in?»

«What do I want to explore?»

«How can I explain this to others?»

«How to present the result of your work?»

This is how independence is formed.

International events in the life of the school.

AISU focuses on the international educational context, so an important part of school life is to introduce students to different cultures and international interaction formats.

AISU students participated in the International Youth Conference.

For us, the International direction is not only knowledge of a foreign language.

This is the ability to understand people with different cultural experiences.

This is respect for others.

This is openness to new things.

This is a willingness to be part of the global world.

Venice day and when does school life become a creative journey?

One of the most interesting thematic events in the life of the school was Venice day.

Students created carnival masks and got acquainted with cultural topics.

Such days show that education can take place not only through a textbook.

Sometimes culture comes to the child through art.

Through music.

Through the suit.

Through a hand-created product.

Via a team project.

Such events leave vivid memories of the school years.

Spring events and Sports Week.

Spring in AISU also becomes a time of active school life.

Traditional events include the Spring Festival and Sports Week.

Sports Week is an opportunity to make physical activity a prominent part of school life.

Competitions, team activities, support from classmates – all this creates a special atmosphere.

Children learn not only to win.

They learn to be a team.

How do children spend time together at AISU?

School life is impossible without friendship.

Sometimes parents ask: “What will the child do between lessons?»

The answer is simple: life.

The child communicates.

Plays.

Is moving.

Reads.

Participates in clubs.

Preparing for events.

Works on projects.

Trains.

Creates.

Resting.

Meets new friends.

It is these ordinary moments that often become the most important part of school years.

School life and teamwork.

We at AISU pay a lot of attention to team interaction.

After all, it is not enough for a modern child just to know the correct answer.

You Need to be able to listen.

Explain.

Negotiate.

Accept a different opinion.

Distribute tasks.

Help.

To be responsible for your own part of the common cause.

A sports team, a theater production, a student project, a competition or a creative workshop – all these formats develop team skills in their own way.

Therefore, school life is a natural environment for the child’s social development.

Breaks are a small but important part of school life.

We do not forget about the usual school breaks.

For an adult, it can be just ten or fifteen minutes.

For a child-a whole small world.

It is during recess that children discuss the latest news, come up with new games, laugh, agree on common things, and share their impressions.

A Break helps you switch after class and regain your attention.

Therefore, recreation is an integral part of a full-fledged school life.

Library and relaxing holidays.

Not every child wants to spend their free time actively.

Some people prefer silence.

It is for such moments that the school has a library.

The AISU Library is part of the school infrastructure, and the main website of the school shows a library with an area of 100 m2.

Reading is also rest.

This is an opportunity to briefly break away from the daily hustle and bustle and plunge into another world.

School life is not just for children.

The peculiarity of AISU school life is that parents are involved in many events.

This is especially noticeable during sports festivals and other school-wide events.

Joint events help parents get to know each other better, see their children in new roles, and feel the atmosphere of the school community.

When a child goes out on the field and his parents support him, this is no longer just a school event.

This is a shared family memory.

School life and healthy lifestyle.

We are convinced that a healthy lifestyle should be shaped not only by talking.

The child must be able to move.

Play sports.

Spend time outdoors.

Participate in sports events.

That is why AISU has football fields, sports grounds, a swimming pool and other opportunities for physical activity.

Sports festivals and competitions help make movement a natural part of school life.

School competitions and why are they needed?

Contests add a special dynamic to the school’s life.

The child can try himself in a new role.

Someone is participating in a sports competition.

Someone is in a math competition.

Someone comes on stage.

Someone is presenting their own project.

Someone creates an art work.

And someone takes on the role of an organizer or team member for the first time.

Therefore, contests are not just competitions.

This is an opportunity for the child to say:

“I tried /tried”.

Sometimes this phrase is more important than any diploma.

Why don’t we reduce school life only to victories?

Because childhood is not a championship.

At AISU, we rejoice at the victories of our students, but at the same time we consider the participation process itself valuable.

The child may not take the first place.

May lose the match.

May make a mistake during the speech.

May not solve a complex problem.

But if after that she is ready to try again – this is already the result.

This is how school life helps build resilience and confidence.

Creativity in the daily life of the school.

Creativity is not just a separate circle.

It can be part of a lesson, project, Holiday, Theater production, theme day, or presentation.

Children can create masks, prepare performances, design projects, work with music and stage images.

It is these formats that make school life diverse.

School events that remain in memory.

There are events that the child may forget after a few weeks.

And there are those that he remembers after many years.

«Remember how we played in the final?»

«Remember our theatrical production?»

«Remember how we did the project?»

«Remember the day of Venice?»

«Remember our sports festival?»

It is from such memories that real school life consists.

Graduation as a special moment in school life.

Of course, one of the most emotional moments is graduation.

The graduation ceremony brings together students, families, teachers and friends of the school.

On this day, they remember the first bell, lessons, contests, sports competitions, creative projects, charity events and other events that shaped the school years of graduates.

For us, an AISU graduate is not just a child who has completed his studies.

This is part of the school’s history.

After all, each student leaves behind their own page in the life of the school.

School life in Kiev and Khodosovka.

AISU has two locations – in Kiev on Dragomanov STR., 1-V and in Khodosovka on Feodosia Pechersky STR., 55.

Each location has its own atmosphere, but we are united by a common philosophy.

We strive to create an environment in which the child can not only learn, but also develop as a person.

That is why school life includes education, sports, creativity, communication, projects and extracurricular activities.

Safety and comfort as the basis of school life.

No Activity makes sense without a secure environment.

For AISU, safety is an important part of the school’s daily life.

The school infrastructure provides a video surveillance system and security, as well as medical and psychological support.

We want the child to feel confident enough to ask questions, ask for help, try new things, and be themselves.

Food and rest during the day.

A full-fledged school life requires energy.

Therefore, it is important that the child has the opportunity to eat normally during the school day.

AISU has its own kitchen, and the school pays attention to catering for students.

For us, this is another element of comfort: the child spends a significant part of the day at school, so all conditions should be thought out comprehensively.

How does AISU differ from a school where there are only lessons?

In our opinion, the answer lies precisely in the concept of school life.

The child spends many hours at school.

And it would be wrong if all this time was reduced only to estimates.

We want the child to be able to:

Learn;

Explore;

Play;

Play sports;

Rest;

Communicate;

Participate in contests;

Work on projects;

Perform;

Create;

Try new classes;

Find friends;

Discover your own abilities.

This is what makes up the full life of the school.

School life for different children.

Children are different.

Someone loves football.

Someone does not miss a single creative activity.

Someone loves math.

Someone is interested in technology.

Someone dreams of a stage.

Someone likes to read.

Someone aspires to be a team leader.

And someone is very shy at first and only gradually begins to manifest themselves.

Our task is not to force all children to do the same thing.

Our goal is to create enough opportunities for the child to find their own direction.

How do clubs help shape your personality?

Clubs are not just a way to take up your free time.

They help the child:

Discover new interests;

Communicate with peers;

Develop perseverance;

Learn to work in a team;

Overcome uncertainty;

Train discipline;

Develop creative abilities;

Find your own strengths.

That is why clubs are an important part of modern school life.

School life is a constant movement.

The school should not be static.

Children grow up.

Their interests are changing.

There are new technologies.

New educational challenges are emerging.

Therefore, the life of the school should develop.

We continue to create new formats, hold thematic events, develop sports, support creativity and project activities.

School life that you want to remember.

We want our graduates to remember more than just their grades in ten or twenty years.

We want them to remember people.

Friends.

Teachers.

First wins.

First performances.

Sports matches.

Team projects.

Laughter at recess.

Emotions before contests.

Trips and conferences.

Creative Works.

School holidays.

Own small victories.

This is what real school life consists of.

AISU is a school where life doesn’t stop after the bell rings.

For us, a school is not just a building.

This is the space where the child spends a significant part of his childhood.

That is why we want AISU to be interesting not only in the classroom.

After the lesson, another part of school life begins.

You can go to training.

Get creative.

Prepare the project.

Take part in the contest.

Chat with your friends.

Play on the sports field.

Visit the circle.

Read.

Prepare for the performance.

Or just relax.

And this, in our opinion, is the peculiarity of a good school environment.

Our main directions of school life.

If you briefly put everything together in one picture, AISU’s school life includes:

Training and projects:

Modern learning environment;

Interactive technologies;

Laboratory and practical classes;

Project activity;

Student presentations;

Scientific activities.

Sport:

Football;

Basketball;

Volleyball;

Swimming;

Sports competitions;

Sports projects;

Choreography;

Theatrical productions;

Musical directions;

Talent studio.

Technologies:

Robotics;

Programming;

Technological and scientific projects.

Science:

Laboratory development:

Mathematical contests;

Chess;

Logical activities;

Project activity;

International Educational Events.

Cultural life:

Theatrical productions;

Thematic days;

Cultural projects;

International Youth events;

Getting to know the cultures of different countries.

Community:

Sports festivals;

Events with parents ‘ participation;

Team events;

School holidays;

Graduation ceremonies.

AISU school life is a childhood that should be diverse. We believe that childhood cannot be postponed “for later”.

A child should not wait for graduation to start trying out different professions, playing sports, performing, creating their own projects, or discovering talents.

It is the school that can become the place where the child will first understand:

“I love sports”.

“I’m interested in science”.

“i want to do programming”.

“I love the stage”.

“I like to draw”.

“I want to be the captain of the team”.

“I want to create my own project”.

And that is why school life should be diverse.

Our vision of school life.

For AISU, school life is not a set of separate events in the calendar.

This is the atmosphere.

This is a daily interaction.

This is the attitude to the child.

This is an opportunity to be heard.

This is an opportunity to try.

This is an opportunity to make a mistake.

This is an opportunity to win.

This is an opportunity to support a friend.

This is an opportunity to discover a new talent.

That is why we strive to create a school where learning and life do not exist separately. They complement each other.

AISU school life that shapes the future

We can’t predict who each of our students will become in ten or twenty years.

But we can create an environment in which he learns to be curious, independent, responsible, active and open to new things.

This is what a busy school life is for.

Sports competitions teach teamwork.

Contests-don’t be afraid of challenges.

Creativity-self-expression.

Projects – independence.

Theater-confidence.

Science-curiosity.

Circles-search for your own interests.

Communication-respect for others.

And the daily life of the school helps to combine all this into one big experience of growing up.

AISU school life is more than a learning process.

This is sports and creativity.

This is science and art.

These are contests and projects.

This is a football field and a swimming pool.

This is a theater stage and an art studio.

These are robotics and math contests.

These are sports festivals and themed days.

These are international events and student presentations.

These are team victories and lessons after defeats.

These are friends.

These are teachers.

These are the parents.

This is laughter at recess.

This is the excitement before the performance.

This is the joy after winning.

This is the first major project.

This is the first tournament.

This is the first performance.

This is the first self-confidence.

And it is from such moments that the life of the AISU school consists.

We want every student to have the opportunity not just to attend school, but to live a full school life – to study, make friends, do what they love, discover new things, develop talents and gradually find their way.

For us, AISU is a space where the child receives not only education.

This is the space where experience is formed.

Experience winning.

Experience to lose.

Experience being friends.

Experience to collaborate.

Create Experience.

Experience being responsible for your own decisions.

Experience being part of a team.

Experience being yourself.

This is how we see AISU’s school life – lively, active, diverse, modern and filled with moments that you want to remember.

And we are sure that when a child comes to school with pleasure, finds friends, hobbies, support and opportunities for development here, then school becomes not just a place of study.[/vc_column_text][vc_raw_html]JTVCcG9wdXBfYW55dGhpbmclMjBpZCUzRCUyMjExODIlMjIlNUQ=[/vc_raw_html][vc_column_text]

m.
