Erudite marathon at AISU school!
Today, March 29, AISU hosted a grand event – a Scrabble marathon! This time, four teams competed for the title of the best experts in fierce battles of intelligence. Representatives of the 6th grade, two teams from the 7th grade and the 8th grade team joined the marathon.
The atmosphere of tension and excitement was in the air from the very beginning. The teams, armed with their knowledge and ingenuity, were ready to prove their erudition. The questions covered a variety of topics, from geography to music, forcing participants to go beyond the school curriculum.
The host of this intellectual tournament was our geography teacher, Mr. Anatoly. He not only masterfully managed the game, but also prepared interesting and unexpected questions for the teams. Did you know that a person has the highest height in the morning? Would you be able to determine the musical composition of Metallica by ear? Do you know how the Leaning Tower of Pisa helped discover the law of gravity? These and other questions made the participants really think and demonstrate their knowledge.
The competition lasted several hours, during which the teams “passed through fire and water”. Each round brought new challenges and emotions. The participants supported each other, excitedly discussed questions and enjoyed successful answers.
Finally, it’s time to announce the winners. The tension reached its peak, because all the teams demonstrated deep knowledge and outstanding ingenuity.
And the victory went… a team of 8th grade students! Their triumph was the result of teamwork, deep knowledge and outstanding ingenuity.
The Scrabble marathon at AISU has become a real celebration of intelligence and knowledge. He not only demonstrated the high level of training of our students, but also gave them unforgettable emotions and a positive charge.
