We watched how children literally “light up their eyes” when they first see real exhibits from the time of Kievan Rus. One of the most favorite moments is a master class on creating jewelry based on ancient patterns.

This museum has become a real hit among junior and secondary school students. Here you can twist, push, lift, flip everything – and all this is science! We conducted experiments right on the spot, learned physics through the game, and were convinced that science is cool when you can hold it in your hands.

We chose this place when we were preparing for a school theater performance. The tour helped students gain a deeper understanding of what is behind the scenes of the stage – costumes, props, posters, music, director’s work. The children returned not just with new knowledge, but with a different attitude to art and the stage process.

It all started with the idea of decorating a gray concrete wall near a sports field. One sketch, several cans of paint – and the first sunny drawings appeared where yesterday there was a void. This was a signal: the school is ready for changes that come not from above, but from within – from the students themselves.

Drawing on the school grounds is a way to express yourself, convey your thoughts without words, and create something that will stay for a long time. Themes for drawings are born in classrooms, during recess, during conversations with teachers – these are scenes from nature, abstract forms, and messages of peace, love, and unity.

One of the latest works is a bright mural called “AISU – our home”, where each student added their own piece – a face, a symbol, a slogan that has meaning for them personally. The picture turned out to be a living collage, symbolizing the diversity of our school family.

The drawing process unites. There are no “right” or “wrong” artists here – there are only those who have ideas and those who are willing to help. Teachers, students, parents – all join in, and it turns into a real open-air art festival.

In addition, art on the school grounds develops responsibility: by creating something with our own hands, we automatically begin to appreciate the space around us more. Drawings not only adorn – they educate.

One of the guests was an anesthesiologist surgeon. Students learned what a day in intensive care looks like, why it is important to know anatomy even in everyday life, and how doctors make difficult decisions in seconds. Most striking of all was the phrase:

Everyone was delighted with the arrival of a veterinarian with a small rescue dog named Pixel. She told how the veterinary clinic works, what is needed to cure not only a dog, but also a parrot or turtle.
