• Pobeda Park is one of our favorite routes. There are wide alleys for walking, a lake with ducks, and green glades for playing and reading. It is often here that we conduct mini-lessons in nature or themed quests.
• Birch Grove is a magical place where you can feel the real forest atmosphere even within the city limits. We often arrange “quiet observations” here: children learn to listen to nature, notice small things, and keep observation Diaries.
• Partizanskaya Slava Park is large, spacious and incredibly beautiful at any time of the year. It was here that we organized active games, mobile games, mini-sports competitions and creative open-air master classes.

That is why at AISU school we pay great attention to extracurricular activities, especially cultural enrichment through visiting museums. Each of our visits to the museum is not just an excursion, it is an immersion in the world of emotions, knowledge, inspiration, but also an opportunity to touch history, science, culture and art in the most vivid form.

When we first got here with our students, many people were amazed: “Ого, Is this all Ukrainian Art?». Here we saw classic paintings, icons, modern installations – and realized how multifaceted Ukrainian culture is. After the visit, students created their own art projects inspired by what they saw.

All the topics from the history textbook come to life here – Trypillian figurines, weapons of Cossack times, ancient documents. We watched how children literally “light up their eyes” when they first see real exhibits from the time of Kievan Rus. One of the most favorite moments is a master class on creating jewelry based on ancient patterns.

This museum has become a real hit among junior and secondary school students. Here you can twist, push, lift, flip everything – and all this is science! We conducted experiments right on the spot, learned physics through the game, and were convinced that science is cool when you can hold it in your hands.

We chose this place when we were preparing for a school theater performance. The tour helped students gain a deeper understanding of what is behind the scenes of the stage – costumes, props, posters, music, director’s work. The children returned not just with new knowledge, but with a different attitude to art and the stage process.

Each such trip is also a gathering of the class, New topics for discussion, moments of joy, surprise, and discovery. Drawing on the school grounds has become not just an artistic initiative – it is a transformation of space, where creativity, emotions and teamwork turn ordinary places into living paintings.

It all started with the idea of decorating a gray concrete wall near a sports field. One sketch, several cans of paint – and the first sunny drawings appeared where yesterday there was a void. This was a signal: the school is ready for changes that come not from above, but from within – from the students themselves.

Drawing on the school grounds is a way to express yourself, convey your thoughts without words, and create something that will stay for a long time. Themes for drawings are born in classrooms, during recess, during conversations with teachers – these are scenes from nature, abstract forms, and messages of peace, love, and unity.

One of the latest works is a bright mural called “AISU – our home”, where each student added their own piece – a face, a symbol, a slogan that has meaning for them personally. The picture turned out to be a living collage, symbolizing the diversity of our school family.

The drawing process unites. There are no “right” or “wrong” artists here – there are only those who have ideas and those who are willing to help. Teachers, students, parents – all join in, and it turns into a real open-air art festival.

In addition, art on the school grounds develops responsibility: by creating something with our own hands, we automatically begin to appreciate the space around us more. Drawings not only adorn – they educate.

Now the territory of AISU is not just a school, but a place that breathes creativity. Every corner here tells a story: about dreams, challenges, friendships and inspiration. That is why we regularly invite interesting people of different professions to share their stories, knowledge and motivation with students. These meetings are always more than just”guests in class”. This is a live communication that lights up the eyes and hearts.

Doctor: “when you save a life, you realize that you have chosen the right path”!

One of the guests was an anesthesiologist surgeon. Students learned what a day in intensive care looks like, why it is important to know anatomy even in everyday life, and how doctors make difficult decisions in seconds. Most striking of all was the phrase:
“sometimes kind words are enough to ease the pain. And sometimes-only a timely action saves lives.”

Military man from the Armed Forces of Ukraine: “courage is not the absence of fear, but the ability to act in spite of it”!

We were visited by a serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a participant in military operations. He talked about real teamwork, the difficulties on the front line, and the brotherhood that cannot be broken.
” I saw strength where there were no weapons – in support, in text messages from children, in letters with children’s drawings. This is the charge that keeps us on the front line,”he shared.
The Children gave him hand – made postcards-the meeting was very emotional.

Veterinarian: “animals feel more than we think”!

Everyone was delighted with the arrival of a veterinarian with a small rescue dog named Pixel. She told how the veterinary clinic works, what is needed to cure not only a dog, but also a parrot or turtle.

Pixel has become the star of the day, and students are even more attentive to all living things.

A real hero in a C uniform appeared in the assembly hall with a large red rescue backpack. He told how training sessions are held, how people are taken out from under the rubble, how they fight panic during a fire.
